Report damaged roads here

Thoko Didiza, Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, recently requested that rural roads that are in poor condition be reported to her office. Suggestions should also be made about the roads that urgently need repair, such as repairing road surfaces and rehabilitating damaged roads.

Saai welcomes this request and therefore wants to ensure that a complete profile of roads that urgently need repair is communicated to the department. “By collecting this information, we also want to keep track of progress in this regard,” says Francois Rossouw, CEO of Saai. The Minister emphasized that road infrastructure of national, provincial, municipal and farm roads is a priority to ensure economic sustainability by being able to transport farm products quickly and safely and therefore it is critical that family farmers report the condition of their roads.

Saai requests that family farmers provide information on damaged roads in their area in order to compile a register of roads that need to be repaired.
